AMSOV Board - Orchestra liaisons (pictured left to right) The AMSOV Board is elected at each conference and serves a two year term. Directors elected at the conference in Detroit will serve until the Biennial Conference in Houston, April 2011. The Board meets in person four times during the biennium in Milwaukee, Chicago, Seattle, and Boston. The nine member Board is responsible for governing AMSOV and for serving volunteer orchestra organizations across the USA and Canada. AMSOV Board members are responsible for facilitating the exchange of information among member orchestras. Members are encouraged to contact their AMSOV Board liaison to share information about projects that support their orchestras. Popular topics include fundraising, fundsaving, service to orchestras, volunteer/staff relationship and community outreach.
